The untouched ‘Hidden Falls’ contrasts with similarly dramatic waterfalls like New Lanark’s ‘Falls of Clyde’ in Scotland, which instead powered cotton mills where many of Fraser’s recent ancestors worked in the factories during the Industrial Revolution.
