• Fraser had an upbringing steeped in rural life. His mother was the chairperson of their local ‘Women’s Rural,’ with connections to generations of farmers in the village of Dunsyre. Fraser enjoyed the challenge of portraying a stoic Highland ‘coo’ as an iconic symbol of Scottish culture, which is not always cute or fluffy.
