Its silvery fur and bright, alert eyes give it a curious and lively appearance. The grey squirrel was controversially introduced into the British Isles by landowners as a novelty from North America. During a holiday in Chester, a popular holiday location for many Scots in the north of England, Fraser’s mother photographed this attractive-looking squirrel preparing for winter.
